The Chroni-WHAT-cles of Narnia!

Okay, I hope I'm not the only one who remembers a Saturday Night Live digital short with a rap song about the movie The Chronicles of Narnia... anyone? Anyone? Well, it's hilarious, even though the only part I remember is the chorus...

I immediately started singing it when my favorite blog challenge started up again for the new year with, you guessed it, The Chronicles of Narnia! Now, I have not seen the movie or read the books, for that matter... I guess I just can't get into fantasy stuff like that. I would rather read a more "realistic" book... Okay, you got me... I'm reading the Twilight saga right now! I just had to see what the fuss was about. Not too impressed, but maybe now that I am reading out of my comfort zone, I will try this classic series.
Here is my take on the movie:

The snowflakes are foam cutouts from Walmart. The White Daisy ink, stamp sets, and prisma glitter are all CTMH. The snowflake ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. I don't remember where I bought the pearl flowers, but it was either Hobby Lobby or Michaels.

Peace, Love, and Scrapping!

  4. Abby - thank you so much for playing along!! First off - can I just tell you that I was TOTALLy cracking up reading your title!!! I TOTALLy had that song in my head the whole time I was creating the challenge banner for this movie... I would walk around singing it and then had to do a google search to try to find the SNL sketch (love that andy!). I am so glad that someone else was singing the song too!!! lol!!!
